Modern Technology

Unlike other publications found in paper form we have used modern technology. All runway elevation has been taken from google earth and if the runway slopes from one end to the other we have taken an average of both. For example Fishburn is 369 ft at the 08 end of the runway and 324 feet at the 26 end of the runway the average is 346 which is what you will find on the card. We have also warned about this in the remarks. Runway lengths have been measured using the same method and where numbers are present the measurement is "numbers to numbers" taken from the bottom of the figures at one end to the bottom of the figures at the other.
