19-Oct-2018Hi From Monday 22nd October, Rufforth Airfield East will no longer be operating on Safetycom. It will be Rufforth Radio 120.380. The Airports Training website can be removed as John Teesdale has now moved to full sutton. Can you please add rufforthairfield.uk as a website. This should also be referred to for PPR instead of the phone number, Many thanks Phil Phil Harwood
30-Dec-2017Thanks John. Will do.Vincent Gledhill
30-Dec-2017Overhead join is 1000'agl as Phil says. The gliders have agreed to stay above 1500' over the landfill site, ( ie deadside for 05/23.) which is a good thermal source. To maintain safe vertical separation overhead join at 1000' agl. There is no tea or coffee machine. Vince, I would recommend you run any comments past me before publishing as I am currently the airfield Operator. John Teesdale
20-Dec-2017There is no cafe OHJ is 1000ft Published runways are 05/23, 14/32 BUT (No take off on 32 or 28. No landing on 10). Beware motorbike school on 10/28 Spelling mistake on SafetyComPhil Harwood
17-Aug-2016Thanks Mike, Card Amended accordingly. Vince Gledhill
16-Aug-2016Overhead join height is 1000' above circuit height (500') so should be 1500' and not 2000'Mike Poole
